Wound Care Software Pricing FAQ: Per-Visit vs Per-Seat Billing

Straight answers on per-visit billing, free EMR access, credits, and what you do and don't pay for with WoundScribe.

What does per-visit pricing mean?

You pay when a visit is charted, not for each user account every month. A credit is spent when the agents draft a chart.

Is the EMR really free?

Yes. The wound care EMR itself has no fee. Seats, logins, and patient records are not billed.

How does the first visit work?

After you sign up and verify your account, one free credit covers a full visit, from conversation to signed note.

What does it cost after that?

A starter pack is ten visits for ten dollars. Pay as you go is five dollars a visit. Two monthly packages lower the per-visit cost at higher volume.

Do I need to stop using my current EMR?

No. You can run WoundScribe alongside it while you evaluate.

Who is per-visit billing best for?

Small practices, part-time clinicians, and teams with uneven patient volume often benefit most, since there is no seat cost during slow weeks. High-volume practices may prefer a monthly package.

Can I see my usage?

Yes. Balance, usage, and expiry are visible at a glance.
