Do I have to complete every tab before generating notes?
No. You can generate at any point, but the pre-flight dialog lists missing intake, wound, or order items. You can fix them or generate anyway.
How long does Generate Notes take?
The summarizer, assessment, planner, and validator agents run in sequence and usually complete in under a minute per encounter.
Can I add a wound mid-encounter?
Yes. On the Wounds tab, type a short description and the system parses type and location, then adds it to the encounter's wound count.
Why does every order need an ICD-10?
Payers require a diagnosis-to-order link for reimbursement. The AI-powered EMR for wound care enforces this before you sign.
What if the AI-drafted SOAP note is wrong?
Edit it directly. Every section — subjective, objective, assessment, plan — is editable before signing. The AI scribe for wound care learns from your edits over time.
Can I generate notes more than once?
Yes. If you add new context, dictation, or orders, re-run Generate Notes. The prior draft is replaced with the updated version.
Are procedure notes and SOAP notes separate?
Yes. The system produces a SOAP note, a distinct procedures note for any documented procedures, and a plain-language patient summary in one pass.
What gets signed?
You sign the SOAP note, procedures note, and accept the finalized order set. All three lock together on signature.
